Saturday September 22, 2012 10am - 11am. Hosted by Terry Haas, owner of Safety Furst (http://www.loyaltypet.com/workshops.html) Meet outside the dog park gates without your dog(s). Participation is free, but please RSVP online or to madison.dogs@verizon.net. The park will be closed this Thursday, August 9 from 8:00 am until Noon so that County staff can remove the lighting bollards and plywood covers. Any wires will be terminated and removed to prevent pets from chewing on them. It may take some time for the stone to settle around the holes resulting from the bollard removal. Pets digging in those areas are not in danger of electrical shock because the power has been turned off. As always, please fill any holes your pets make. The County is reviewing an alternative system to the current solar rechargeables and will continue to monitor the system and take maintenance actions to ensure park safety. Many thanks for your cooperation. |
